Super Mario

Super Mario is a video game franchise created by Nintendo which focused around an Italian plumber from Brooklyn saving Princess Peach from an evil turtle.

Currently I’m just writing down whatever comes to mind. I’ll organize it properly much later.

In general: I’m a fan. I started playing Mario when I was very young, as I happened to receive New Super Mario Bros. for the DS and then, later, acquired Super Mario 64 DS thru mysterious circumstances.A)
After getting a Wii, I played Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 to completion…though I never 100%‘d either game, because I tend to bail once I have to deal with post-story content. I also played and finished New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

After that, I just kinda stopped playing Mario. The main reason being that my family migrated from Nintendo to Microsoft, so we eventually got an Xbox One S (after having borrowed an Xbox 360). Though I never played games super extensively on it and the few times I did, I generally bailed for reasons beyond my control.B;C)
We never invested in the Wii U. Though there were always plans to eventually go for the Nintendo Switch. Now that the Switch 2 is out, we’ve started reconsidering the situation again. Especially considering that the Xbox has become seriously unappealing.

A) I believe that I was given it by someone. I suspect who that someone is, but I’m not sure of what the circumstances were exactly anymore.
B) I had played and finished the Halo: Reach campaign…though because I played it co-op, my younger brother skipped all of the cutscenes. So I actually haven’t technically finished the story yet. I also played ODST of course.
C) What I mean by ‘bailed’ is mostly related to things like Nier Automata. I had started playing it because it was available thru Game Pass (which my family had bought for reasons unknown). But not long after I started playing it (and enjoying myself)…my family canceled Game Pass. So no more of that.
