It condenses the story a lot and leaves out a number of details...like the fact God kept hardening Pharaoh's heart to prevent him from...letting the Hebrews go...? It also has an extra angle relating to Pharaoh (Ramses) being Moses’ brother. And it takes place over the course of just a few short years. Plus it leaves out Moses’ hesitation to leave...and a bunch of other stuff.\\
