 **Charlotte** is an [[lb:anime]] that was created through a collaboration between [[lb:Key]] and [[lb:P.A. Works]],((:fn:>While I believe the term ‘collaboration’ is most appropriate to describe the presumed relationship, I don't know for sure whether it was an ‘official collaboration’. [[lb:Key]]’s logo does appear in the credits (and Key coffee does make an appearance in the anime as well), and many of their core staff worked on Charlotte. Key and P.A. Works have worked together a lot, and continue to, which is why I'm assuming it was a collaboration.)) the former providing staff for the writing; character design; and the like, and the latter doing much of the animation work.
 The world of Charlotte is one in which teenagers have random super-powers, although all of these super-powers come with a downside that usually renders it impractical to use.
