+Formerly known as the [[lb:wod]] (to, //obviously//, create **maximum confusion** with the World of Darkness), for most of its history it was known as the nWoD: the new World of Darkness.\\  Following shenanigans, Paradox renamed it to the Chronicles of Darkness, which was a welcome change...but, as of 2024, it appears that Paradox has effectively canceled the entire gameline.\\  The principle games are itself,((:fn:>As ‘World of Darkness’ or later ‘Chronicles of Darkness’.)) Mage: the Awakening, Werewolf: the Forsaken and Vampire: the Requiem, but includes a lot more stuff.

+  * [[1d6>World of Darkness]] - This page covers both WoD and CoD.
+  * There isn't an official website, I think, though I do vaguely remember there being something at some point.
+  * From a purely theoretical standpoint, I prefer the versatility of CoD over WoD, though WoD's Vampire has better lore...not that that matters, since you can totally just play Masquerade in Requiem.
