 +====== Beautiful World ======
 +
 +Beautiful World is a song and music video that was created for the [[lb:eva:rebuild]]. It's something like a main theme to the series, as the final film even ends with a remix of it.\\  Anyhow, here's my thing.

 +===== My own (probably wrong) interpretation of the music video =====
 +
 +When I watch this music video, I think about humanity. Specifically, humanity in the context of Evangelion.\\  The music video shows a lot of scenery from the cities, people walking around those cities, as well as the skyscrapers coming up from the ground...and how artificial everything is, etc.\\  This always came off to me as a celebration of humanity. Despite the Second Impact, they were able to //rebuild//, better than before. Skyscrapers rose up out of the ground again, they rebuild all their infrastructure and the people went back to their normal (and possibly boring) lives, as if all is back to normal.\\  This only reads to me as a celebration...I mean, humanity got kicked //hard// but bounced right up again. That's pretty damn badass.\\  And this kind of perspective on humanity isn't necessarily rare, but it's also not too common. I can only think of [[lb:ald0]] as the main exception here. And I think this is sorta an important and pretty cool thing to talk about.\\  Of course, I assume this interpretation is wrong, just taking the rest of the //Rebuilds// into account.
