-The initial OVA has a very impressive chase scene in the first episode...and that's the height of the entire franchise.\\  Taking the whole OVA, I think that it's good overall, though that chase scene really is as good as it gets. Nina & Rei are depicted as being in their teens or, at the latest, early 20s in //Nina & Rei Danger Zone//. Similarly, the two main drivers in the main anime grew up with AI cars being widespread which places the lower limit at around 20.)) But note that that's the minimum required for them being //wide-spread//, which means they must have been around for longer. Though with how the self-driving system actually works, it's unlikely to have been implemented gradually, and had to have been implemented 'suddenly'.
