 **éX-Driver** is an anime created by [[playground:fujishima kousuke]] that takes place in a dystopian reality where self-driving cars are so widespread they are the dominant form of transportation.\\  Horrifying, I know, but more so than that...some cars just...go crazy sometimes. For reasons unknown, they will just stop following orders. For those situations, a group of specialists who still know how to drive cars come in to stop those cars: the **éX-Drivers**.\\  If you're wondering why the cars go crazy...well, you'll never know.

+The depiction of self-driving cars in this series is interesting...because it's arguably the most accurate prediction of what a world of self-driving cars might look like.
+Why? Because they're all connected into a centralized system which manages where and how the cars drive. Plus each car has its own sensors built-in just in case the system fails to pick something up somewhere.\\
+On top of that, we only ever see this operating within cities. Cities are a very controllable environment, which makes it more likely for self-driving cars to exist here.
