 +Something I have noticed among video essays related to storytelling is that the essayists tend to make very absolute statements on stories like <q :en>this type of character is always bad</q> whilst simultaneously claiming that stories are entirely subjective.\\
 +This is <em underline>contradictory</em> (obviously), as you cannot believe that something is always bad if you also believe that stories are entirely subjective and cannot be evaluated objectively.

 +Obviously, I know that this is just the influence of [[lb:socjus|Post-Modernism]] on the analysis of storytelling, but it doesn't make it any less irritating to hear.\\
 +Particularly when people such as myself end up getting criticized for arguing you //can// evaluate stories objectively and some things ([[lb:multiverse]]; [[lb:time-travel]]) are bad in the majority of cases.
