 The Manga has a bad and abrupt ending. I may elaborate further, but this is the short of it.

 I'll add now that I noticed the manga has a very clean artstyle. It's drawn very confidently and professionally and I think that may be one reason it ended up being so popular. Especially when compared to [[lb:kumoka]]’s manga – it's not bad, but it's definitely much rougher. I think that, of the manga I've read, only [[lb:Joshiraku]], [[lb:youjo senki]] and maybe [[lb:munana|Munou na Nana]] are consistently great from beginning to end.
 It's especially impressive if you consider it was only the author's second(?((:fn:>I will have to check to verify.))) long-term series.

+Time to add a little more before the re-write (which still isn't coming for a while). The series can broadly be split into three big ‘parts’:
+  - The rest
+  - The Goddess Arc
+  - The Heart of Jupiter Arc
+The first big part is basically composed of small episodic arcs. Each of those lasts just a few chapters and each volume usually contains two. The Goddess Arc is a major story arc that starts in volume 11 and ends in volume 19 (though the earliest hints for it start in volume 4 and the most obvious hints in volume 6). The Heart of Jupiter Arc starts volume 20 and continues until volume 26. Then the series ends.
+It's apparently written like this because the author wasn't sure if the series would continue or not, so he avoided writing any major story arcs.
+I don't think it's a big problem until around volume 6. You'll note that there are still five volumes between then and the major story arc. Those in-between volumes are kinda forgotten about. Though I think this is partially since the anime never adapted them.
+As I explained in my [[#Alternative Approach]], I think part of the issue is that the girls lose their memories. I think it would have been better for the story overall if they didn't, or at least if they continued playing an important role even after they lost the memory of the conquest. That would fix the issue with these last few conquests before the Goddess Arc feeling kinda pointless.
+I don't even really dislike these later ones, it's just kinda weird.
+Though I'm not sure how this could have been done considering the author's fears.
