+Think about it: the second film is partially about progress versus tradition. Po and Kung Fu represent tradition, while Shen and the cannon represent progress.\\
+In the end, progress loses to tradition. But...\\
+Well, China ended up losing because it was too insular, bureaucratic, arrogant and obsessed with maintaining the status quo...to the point they lost to Europeans, who developed canons and guns (despite the Chinese inventing gunpowder). Technically, Po is dooming China.
