 {{ruby|漫画|まんが}}(Manga) is the Japanese term for comic books. However, many people use the term to specifically refer to Japanese comics, which is what I'm doing on this wiki.\\
 Manga, unlike Western comic books, is written and read right-to-left, which is also the case for many books in Japan. Manga is also typically black-and-white rather than colored, which I assume to be primarily due to printing costs.
