 +<div passage>
 +**AniList** is an anime and manga tracking website and probably the biggest [[lb:mal]] competitor.

 +I've been using it as my primary tracker for...a long time. Maybe since 2019.

 +===== Personal Evaluation =====
 +However, this isn't due to me thinking it's the //best//. It was pretty much just because the application I primarily used to track anime on my desktop – [[lb:taiga]] – could only be used with AniList and [[playground:kitsu]] when I started using it. MAL support has since returned, but by then I had been using AniList primarily for a long time.

 +I actually think the interface is pretty clunky and annoying to navigate. If MAL is the old-fashioned but functional one, then AniList is the trendy and kinda annoying one.
 +
 +Like, sure, it looks ‘modern’ but that just makes me dislike using it more. Really, if it wasn't for Taiga, I'd probably have switched back over to MAL.
 +</div>
 +
 +Also, considering that AniList, MAL and Kitsu all have suspiciously similar datasets...yeah, I've always perceived them as a set of three different front-ends for the exact same data.
