 DCC was a physical audio format developed by [[playground:Philips]] to be the successor to the [[lb:cassette]]. For a while, it was best remembered as being the competitor to the [[lb:minidisc]], but has recently developed a community with the [[playground:DCC Museum]] at its center.
 The DCC Museum itself cites [[playground:Techmoan]] as the reason for the renewed interest in DCC.
