DCC was a physical audio format developed by Philips to be the successor to the Compact Cassette. For a while, it was best remembered as being the competitor to the MiniDisc, but has recently developed a community with the DCC Museum at its center.

The DCC Museum itself cites Techmoan as the reason for the renewed interest in DCC.
