I won’t write this yet, but I figured I might as well release it.

After thinking about Junko, I’ve come to the conclusion that she is way more interesting than she appears at first. Additionally, I feel as though the creators and fans have failed to notice what it is that makes her interesting.

Part of it has to do with who Junko actually is. It’s pretty clear that her personality shifting is actually just her trying to hide who she really is (and she’s ashamed of that person). Who is she really? She resembles mukuro ikusaba the most. During the final trial in Danganronpa she completely drops the acting, revealing her neutral expression and monotone voice. Like Mukuro. That’s probably why she hates her so much.
