 I think maybe part of the premise is flawed because it's called **Gal** & Dinosaur, but there wasn't actually that big of a focus on gyaru-like things.

 The anime is how I found this series and it's extremely bizarre.

 I'm not sure what compelled them to do this. On the one hand I admire the commitment and on the other I think it actually makes the anime worse. I think if they stuck to a faithful adaptation the show would be better.\\
 However, the live action segments are incoherent. They're entertaining at times, but when taken collectively they're just absurd in a bad way.
