Hyper Techno is a genre of music related to Eurobeat though it’s not nearly as well-known. It also originated in Italy and, like with Eurobeat, was produced primarily for the Japanese.
The two don’t sound that comparable, though you can definitely hear similarities.
What makes it notable (to me) is that it’s like Eurobeat without a filter, as there seems to be a higher concentration of absurd surreal nonsense among Hyper Techno than with Eurobeat…which is a pretty incredible accomplishment if you think about it.
