-Paycheck falls under what I call 'silly action', which are action films that don't take themselves too seriously. Sadly, this type of film seems to have died out and was only really a thing in the 90s/2000s. Other films that I'd place under this label include //Face/Off// (naturally), //The Rock//, //Demolition Man// and //The Punisher//.\\  The plot is pretty solid and it all somewhat fits together. The <wrap spoiler>time stuff also pretty much fits together as far as I remember</wrap>.\\  I'm honestly not sure what else to say. I do think that this is one of the better John Woo films and definitely the best Philip K. Dick adaptation that I've seen.
