Innocents
Innocents is a supplement for the new World of Darkness specifically focused around playing as a bunch of children in a world of horrors.
It’s pretty good, to the point that I don’t really have much to say. The writing style is pleasant – utilitarian, but not dry (though it does get ahead of itself sometimes). The fictions are mostly fine, though they often end abruptly. The mechanics look fine at a glance (not super good at evaluating those yet).
So yeah, not sure what to say.
Except, plot twist! I kinda do. It’s pretty clear that it was written by good people. The authors claim (in various in-book essays) that they’re parents and I can really feel that. They also don’t think that kids are stupid, they just think that they’re a little self-centered, naive and lack information. This makes for better (theoretical) gameplay.
I may expand this article further in the future.

- There’s a fan-made version of Innocents for the Chronicles of Darkness called Fragile Innocence. I haven’t looked at it yet, but I will eventually. I’ve heard positive things about it though.
