パラパラ(ParaPara) is a type of dance that originated in Japan.
ParaPara is most heavily associated with Eurobeat and its derivatives (like HyperTechno).
Though I’m not 100% sure about the history…I don’t think ParaPara originated with Eurobeat but originated around the same time…then it attached itself to Eurobeat, becoming forever linked from then on.
And, well, ParaPara is also heavily associated with Gyaru.
