ヴァルトラウテさんの婚活(かんかつ)事情(じじょう)(The Circumstances Leading to Waltraute’s Marriage) is a light novel written by Kamachi Kazama – the author of the Toaru Project. This light novel is also one of my favorites.
One of the nine Valkyrie, Waltraute, finds herself getting proposed to by a young boy…who becomes a hero to prove his worth. Shenanigans occur.

Unsurprisingly, Waltraute is based on Norse Mythology.

I like it.

Though I’m not 100% on the story (it has been a while since I read it), I think it fits together. Honestly, I’m disappointed the setting is seemingly just…done.

Some interesting additions include explicitly claiming there are only 9 Valkyries. That is a very interesting number to pick.

I’ll fill this out gradually. Possibly after I re-read it. If I do.

Depicted as a tsundere. She has blond hair and green ey- just look at this.

Frigg is basically the “older woman who gets incredibly flattered/giggly when she’s mistaken/referred to as younger/pretty” character. I don’t have much else to say here.
